With over 20 years of experience working in private home care, I bring compassion, dedication, and a deep understanding of the unique needs of the elderly and disabled communities. Throughout my career, I have provided care during some of the most challenging times, including the COVID-19 pandemic, and have supported individuals and families through hospice care and end-of-life transitions. I've also had the honor of caring for my own family members, which has strengthened my empathy and commitment to this work. I was drawn to caregiving because I have always found purpose in helping others, especially those who are vulnerable or in need of support. I believe in treating each client with respect, dignity, and kindness -- qualities that I live by every day. My calm, patient nature and strong communication skills allow me to connect deeply with clients and provide care that goes beyond basic needs. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is building meaningful relationships and knowing that I'm making a real difference in someone's quality of life. One personal achievement I'm proud of is being able to keep a hospice client comfortable and at peace in their own home during their final months -- an experience their family still thanks me for.
